A Little About Me…

My name is Shalyn O'Neal and I have been in the wedding industry for over 17 years. My husband and I operate a small farm in Rogersville, Missouri and we have 2 beautiful children! My family opened a wedding chapel when I was 9 years old and I have been in love with weddings ever since! I started managing one of our chapels, Stonegate Glass Chapel, full time in the summer of 2019 and have loved being able to be part of over 400 couples big days so far. Shortly after the birth of my 1st, I decided to go part time with my venue work to allow for both more time at home with my growing family but also more weekend availability for photographing weddings!

A bit about how my photography journey began - I started offering photography for several of our elopements and small weddings shortly after starting back full time. My sister-in-law explained my love of photography in the most amazing way - being an enneagram 1, I LOVE rules. I love knowing the outcome of things. But I also like creativity and being able to find the beauty in things. Photography is the PERFECT creative outlet for us 1's - it is creativity with a defined set of rules. Adjust this setting, get this result. Step back a bit, get this result. I have loved being able to combine my passion for weddings, creativity, and yes, rules through this business

I would love to put this passion to good use and help make your wedding dreams come true!
