Bright Colors & Sweet Vows | Pfifer & Gray at Stonegate Glass Chapel

I’ll be honest - when Pfifer first told me she was doing bright colors for her wedding, I was a little nervous. Bold color palettes can be tricky to photograph, but let me tell you... she absolutely nailed it. The pinks, oranges, and yellows popped in all the best ways, and everything came together beautifully against the white and black backdrop of Stonegate.

From emotional vows to the coolest reception energy, this wedding was just full of moments I won’t forget.

A Ceremony That Felt Like a Warm Hug

Pfifer and Gray’s ceremony was longer than most of the weddings I photograph - but in the best way. Every part of it was so intentional. They actually greeted each of their guests at the start of the ceremony, which I thought was such a sweet and personal touch.

They also included a hand fasting ceremony, personal vows, and heartfelt words throughout. It felt like everyone in the room was part of something deeply meaningful - and I was honored to capture it.

Colorful Details & a Playful Bridal Party

The wedding party was such a blast to work with. I love when a group brings their own personality and energy - it always helps the photos feel a little more alive. And with the bold color palette, everything about their look felt joyful and unique.

From bouquets to bridesmaids’ dresses to table decor, everything pulled together in a way that felt cohesive and fun. Bright, bold weddings like this aren’t always easy to pull off - but this one? Total success.

A Live Painter, a Packed Dance Floor, and a Sparkler Exit to Remember

This was also my first time working alongside a live wedding painter - Fine Art of Eden - and I have to say, I’m a fan. Watching the painting evolve throughout the day added such a cool creative vibe to the reception.

Speaking of the reception... these guests knew how to party. It didn’t take long for the dance floor to fill up, and it stayed that way until the very end.

We wrapped up the evening with a gorgeous sparkler exit, and I finally figured out after six years of shooting weddings that my 50mm lens was the perfect choice for it. Just goes to show - we’re always learning!

Final Thoughts

Pfifer & Gray’s wedding reminded me why I love photographing weddings in the first place - personal touches, genuine moments, and a whole lot of joy. It was a beautiful day from start to finish, and I’m so excited to share a few highlights from their gallery.
