Crystal & Eric at Samuel Cedars
Crystal and Eric’s wedding felt like the perfect way to close out my 2025 wedding season. Held on November 29 at Samuel Cedars, this was my final wedding of the year — and there was something especially meaningful about ending a busy season with a day that felt calm, intentional, and centered on what mattered most.
A Cozy Indoor Celebration
Originally planned as an outdoor celebration, Crystal and Eric’s wedding ultimately moved indoors. While that kind of change can feel stressful, they handled it with so much grace and flexibility. Their day remained intimate and thoughtful, with a small guest count and a strong focus on family.
As a blended family wedding, there was an added layer of meaning woven throughout the day. Every detail felt purposeful, and the overall atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and deeply personal — the kind of wedding that reminds you that the heart of the day matters far more than the setting.
Sneaking Outside for Portraits
One of the highlights of the day was being able to step outside for a few portraits. Even with the ceremony and reception indoors, we were able to take advantage of a brief break in the weather, which gave us some beautiful variety and a few quiet moments away from the crowd. Those short pockets of time outside added such a nice balance to the day and gave Crystal and Eric space to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy being together.
A Meaningful End to the Season
Ending my year with Crystal and Eric’s wedding felt fitting. Their day was peaceful, heartfelt, and full of moments that truly mattered — a gentle and meaningful close to my biggest year of photography yet. I’m so thankful they trusted me to capture their wedding and to wrap up my 2025 season on such a beautiful note.
