Real Family Moments | Portrait Photography Portfolio
As a mom of two toddlers, I know firsthand that family photos can feel overwhelming! Between wrangling little ones, figuring out outfits, and hoping everyone cooperates, it can feel like a lot. That’s why my approach focuses on creating a relaxed, pressure-free environment where real connections can happen. I'll offer enough direction to help everyone look their best—hello, flattering angles and good lighting!—while also leaving plenty of room for genuine smiles and sweet, candid moments. These sessions are all about documenting your family just as you are in this season of life.

What to Expect…
Family sessions typically last around 30–60 minutes and can take place at one of my favorite outdoor spots in the Springfield or Branson area, or somewhere meaningful to your crew. Whether you're envisioning golden hour in a wide-open field, cozying up at home, strolling through a garden, or even bringing your pup along for the ride—I’ll help guide you through every step.
Don’t worry if your kids are energetic or a little shy at first. I’ve worked with families of all sizes and personalities, and I always meet kids where they are. We’ll play games, take breaks when needed, and follow their lead to create natural, joy-filled images. I bring a calm, go-with-the-flow energy that helps everyone feel at ease—even the grownups!
If you’re not sure what to wear, I’ve got outfit tips to help you coordinate without stress. You can bring a second outfit if you’d like variety, and I always suggest bringing a small snack or treat just in case.
At the end of the day, you’ll walk away with timeless, light-filled images that reflect your family’s real bond—photos full of love, laughter, and the little moments that make your people yours.
