A Simple & Sweet Early Spring Wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel
Some wedding days just feel right—Brittney & Spencer’s was one of them. Simple, sweet, and absolutely perfect.
Their wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel fell on the day after Daylight Savings Time, and let me just say—thank goodness for that extra hour of daylight! March weather in Missouri can be unpredictable, but this day? Gorgeous. You could not have asked for better on March 10th.
The guest list was small—about 20 of their closest family and friends—and the bridal party matched that intimacy with just two on each side. They kept things understated but elegant with a light blue color scheme, which looked incredible in the chapel’s natural light.
With only two hours for photos, we had to be efficient—but we covered everything. Detail shots, getting ready moments, a father/daughter dance, the ceremony, family and bridal party portraits, a first dance, and of course, plenty of bride and groom photos. It was a beautifully relaxed timeline, which made for an easygoing, stress-free day.
I had been looking forward to this wedding ever since meeting Brittney & Spencer at a Stonegate open house a few months back. You just can’t meet a sweeter couple. Their wedding day was, in a word? Delightful.
