Saige & Quint’s Classy Black & White Wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel

There’s something about a black and white wedding that just hits different, especially at Stonegate Glass Chapel—it’s effortlessly timeless and always looks incredible. Saige & Quint’s early March wedding was no exception.

While it was a pretty small wedding, their bridal party was anything but—and they were an absolute blast to work with. We started the day with plenty of detail photos, and then it was time for the first look. Cue the tears. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when Saige & Quint saw each other for the first time.

The ceremony was heartfelt, beautifully personal, and even included a couple of Shrek references from the pastor, which I fully appreciated (because, yes, it is one of my favorite movies).

When it came time for portraits, the bridal party was up for anything—which meant we got to try some fun, creative shots. We even got to sneak away for road photos of just Saige & Quint, something I haven’t had the chance to do in years. We wrapped things up with cigar photos of the groom and his groomsmen, which I also hadn’t done in 2.5 years, so that was a fun throwback!

The reception started off with dinner before moving into the parent dances. The mother-son dance was to Her Little Man, which always hits differently now that I have kids of my own—simultaneously my favorite and least favorite song for that reason. Then, in one of the most touching moments of the evening, the groom did a surprise tribute to the bride’s late father, making for an incredibly emotional and special moment.

After those heartfelt moments, guests spent time mingling and enjoying the evening before the dance floor officially opened up—and once it did, it was game on. The energy stayed high the rest of the night, making for a great celebration.

We ended the night with a LED wand send-off, and somehow, I still made it home in time to put my kids to bed. Not bad for a mid-week wedding!
