Wondering how it all works? I’ve created a simple, stress-free process to help you feel supported from the very first inquiry. Whether you’re a spreadsheet-loving planner or just want someone to walk you through the details, I’ve got you covered every step of the way.

Here’s what you can expect when you inquire: ➡️

  • I’ll personally respond to confirm if I’m available for your date. I’ll also send over a pricing range so you can get a feel for your options right away. If it’s a good fit, we’ll move on to planning!

  • This is one of my favorite parts. You’ll receive a short and simple form that helps us think through your wedding day priorities—from first look to sunset portraits. Not a fan of forms? You can always hop on a quick video call instead.

  • Once I’ve seen your timeline goals, I’ll walk you through which package makes the most sense for your day. No upselling or pressure—just honest suggestions based on your actual vision.

  • Once your contract is signed and the retainer is paid, you’re officially booked! From there, we’ll kick things off with your engagement session (if included) and begin working together on a custom wedding photo timeline that makes the most of your coverage.

Have Questions? I’ve Got Answers!

  • Most couples book 9–18 months ahead, especially for spring and fall weekends. (But it doesn’t hurt to check availability for shorter engagements as well!)

  • Absolutely. I send all my couples a questionnaire that helps us build a custom photo timeline based on what moments matter most to you.

  • Yes! I regularly photograph weddings across all of Southwest Missouri and am happy to chat about travel for your location.

  • It depends on your day! That’s why I ask about your priorities up front—to help you choose the best fit. Most of my couples need between 6 - 8 hours to get photos of everything they want.
