A Family-Focused Wedding at The Barn at Belamour | Megan & Bradley

Megan & Bradley’s wedding at The Barn at Belamour was the kind of day that keeps you on your toes - in the best way. It was my first time photographing at this Springfield venue, and I have to say, it made such a beautiful backdrop for this sweet, emotional, and joy-filled day.

A Timeline Twist (That Totally Worked Out)

We were watching the weather closely in the days leading up to May 25th, since the forecast was calling for off-and-on rain basically all day. That led to a last-minute shift in the timeline, and Megan and Bradley made the call to add in a first look - hoping we’d have a better shot at outdoor photos before the rain moved in.

And wouldn’t you know it? It didn’t rain. Not a drop. Which meant we had ample time for portraits - no stress, just soft light and lots of sweet moments. Sometimes last-minute changes turn out to be the best kind.

A Small Wedding Party with Big Personality

Their wedding party was small and personal, with just Megan’s daughter and Bradley’s brother by their sides. Oh, and let’s not forget the 6'8" “flower boy” - a friend of the couple who absolutely stole the show and had everyone cracking up.

An Emotional, Intentional Ceremony

The ceremony was full of emotion. Megan and Bradley shared personal vows that gave everyone such a meaningful glimpse into their relationship. There were tears, laughter, and a whole lot of heart, with a strong focus on the beautiful new family they’re building as a family of three.

A Joyful, Laid-Back Reception

After a few more portraits post-ceremony, it was time to celebrate - and this reception was hopping. Between the dancing, chatting, and nonstop good vibes, the whole space was filled with energy. It was one of those nights that felt more like a family reunion than a formal party - and it couldn’t have suited them better.

So glad I got to be a part of it. Wishing Megan, Bradley, and their daughter the sweetest new beginning as a family!
