Lana & Trey’s Stonegate Glass Chapel Wedding

Lana and Trey were married on May 2, 2026 at Stonegate Glass Chapel, and their wedding was the perfect reminder that a classic black-and-white wedding can still feel incredibly fresh when you add a little personality.

A Wedding Worth the Wait

Lana and Trey had been booked for quite a while, so by the time their wedding day finally arrived, there was definitely a sense of excitement surrounding it. And thankfully, the day did not disappoint.

A Classic Color Palette with a Twist

One of my favorite things about this wedding was the color palette. Over the years, I've photographed a lot of black-and-white weddings—and for good reason. It's timeless, elegant, and photographs beautifully. But Lana and Trey added pops of red and pink throughout their day, which brought so much life and personality into the overall design. The combination felt classic without feeling predictable, and the color stood out beautifully against Stonegate's neutral backdrop.

A Dress Made for the Occasion

Lana's dress was absolutely stunning. The kind of dress that immediately catches your attention but still feels timeless years down the road. Every detail fit the overall style of the day perfectly, and it photographed beautifully from every angle.

Sweet First Looks

Before the ceremony, Lana shared a first look with her dad that was incredibly sweet. Those parent first looks are always some of my favorite moments to photograph because they're often one of the few times during the day where everything slows down for a minute.

After that, it was time for Lana and Trey to see each other. They chose to do a first look along with private vows, which gave them a chance to spend a few quiet moments together before the rest of the day picked up speed. These moments always feel special because they create space for couples to connect without an audience.

A Bridal Party That Brought the Energy

From the start, this bridal party was fun. They were up for whatever we threw at them, kept the energy high, and made portraits feel easy. Those are always the groups that help a wedding day flow smoothly because everyone is genuinely excited to be there.

Cigars and Veil Photos

Trey had requested cigar photos, and they ended up being some of my favorite groom portraits from the day. They fit the vibe perfectly and added a little personality to the gallery. Meanwhile, Lana casually mentioned during portraits that she loved veil photos. I took that information and ran with it. If a bride tells me she loves veil photos, we're doing veil photos. Lots of them. The light, the movement, and the way the veil framed Lana made for some of my favorite portraits from the day.

A Reception That Kept Things Simple

The reception was honestly one of my favorite kinds of receptions. We captured the big moments, got some fun dance floor photos, and then the celebration continued long after photography coverage ended. As a photographer, I fully support couples prioritizing the moments that matter most to them and then getting back to spending time with their guests. It's a great balance between documenting the highlights and actually enjoying the party.
