Lillie & Nathen’s Engagement Session at Finley Farms

Some engagement sessions are all about big moments and long backstories — and some are just really, really solid. Lillie and Nathen’s session at Finley Farms fell squarely into that second category.

Trying a Few New Spots

Even at locations I know well, I’m always excited to try out a few new angles or tucked-away spots — and this session gave me the perfect excuse to do that. We explored a couple areas of Finley Farms that were new to me, and they were absolutely worth it. Fresh backdrops, great light, and a calm pace made everything feel easy from start to finish.

“That Was Way More Fun Than I Thought”

At the end of the session, Nathen summed it up perfectly: “That was so much more fun than I thought it would be.” Honestly? That’s one of my favorite things to hear — especially from someone who came in a little unsure about photos. Lillie and Nathen were relaxed, natural together, and fully leaned into the process, which always makes for the best kind of images.

Looking Ahead to November

I’m already looking forward to their wedding this November at Stonegate Glass Chapel. If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding day is going to feel just as easy, joyful, and genuine.
